Laurie Rose, is a self-guided artist, capturing the beauty in God's creation. While she always had a desire to draw and paint, it wasn’t until 2020, when she found herself with time on her hands that she began to focus and explore on her technique and presentation. Laurie Rose has a passion for painting birds, blossoms, pastoral landscapes and seascapes.  Water color is currently her preferred medium. She loves working with watercolor as it seems to come alive and move on the canvas, making it such an exciting medium to work with. She also enjoys sketching in graphite and charcoal. Laurie Rose is currently a display artist featured at the Yosemite Sierra Artists Gallery.
